Teaching resumes should include the following sections:

Contact information
Full name, address, telephone number, and email address.

List all certifications that you currently hold.

University/College, Degree/Diploma received, date received.

List any awards or honors you have received.

Teaching Experience
Include student teaching or fieldwork experience.

Include summer, part-time and full-time employment related to your field.

Additional Experience
In this section you would include work experience that does not relate to teaching. You can list these without detailed explanations.

Technology/ Computer Skills
List you competencies in this section.

Language Skills
If you are fluent or have a background in a second language you would indicate your skills in this section.

Activities and Interests
List activities in college and in the community, especially those that denote leadership or working with children. Include any special skills you may have.

List the names, professional titles, and name of the organization, for two or three persons who can provide positive references about your personal strengths and work behavior.
